TThe number of awards published increased to 84 ( 68 2006-07) though the value of awards fell by 7.5% to £68.9m.

Published invitations to tender also fell from 106 in 2006-07 to 98.

Once again the invitation market was dominated by Local Authorities 90%, with 90% of these being handled by advisors (Sector 92%, Unilink 8%).

5% of the invitations related to Fire Authorities all of which used an advisor ( 80% Sector, 20% Unilink). 2% related to Housing Associations and 1% to Higher Education all being advised by Sector.

Only 2% related to NHS and this particularly low figure probably relates to the Frame Work Agreement introduced through PASA.

As last year the assets financed are almost exclusively vehicular be that vans, cars, refuse vehicles or park maintenance equipment.
